The “Impulso” conferences on innovation in printing, prior to Graphispag, are back

As a prelude to Graphispag 2024, the Spanish Association of Printing Suppliers (AESI) and Fira de Barcelona’s printing industry exhibition are organizing a new cycle of “Impulso” conferences on innovation in printing and visual communication. The first session will be held on March 5 at Heidelberg Spain’s headquarters in Cornellà de Llobregat and will address topics such as the sustainability of printing, data management to optimize prices and sales, and the sum of technology and customer knowledge as a successful approach to the graphics business.


After the good reception of the “Impulso” cycle of conferences, which began in 2022 in the form of webinars, this year Graphispag is resuming this training activity that will take place during the months leading up to the fair. The program includes five sessions organized in collaboration with graphic technology suppliers and other entities in the sector. Thus, on this first day, in addition to the host company Heidelberg Spain, representatives from Fujifilm Spain, Roland DG EMEA, Epson Ibérica, and the consulting firm Solveno will participate as speakers.

The “Impulso” cycle of sessions, open to professionals and companies that provide or use printing and graphic and visual communication services, is a good training and networking opportunity, complementary to the visit of the Graphispag trade fair, to learn about trends, solutions, technologies and new applications for graphic products. Issues related to sustainability, personalization, productivity improvement and business results, the business model, and new opportunities for graphic companies will also be discussed.

The president of AESI and Graphispag show, Xavier Armengou, stresses: “with these events we bring the latest graphic technology and its applications to printers in a practical way, addressing trends that impact the graphics business, while collecting the concerns of industry professionals to which Graphispag will try to respond through its commercial offerings, activities and content.

These conferences prior to Graphispag will culminate next October in the “Dialogues – Impulse” conference space at the fair itself, where the topics that have aroused most interest will be discussed in depth and an agenda will be presented that provides practical answers to the challenges faced by graphic services companies and other sectors that use printing in their activity.

Graphispag, to be held from October 1-3, will be the only graphics trade show of 2024 in Spain and expects the participation of more than 140 exhibiting companies and 11,000 professional visitors. The emblematic show will exceed 6,000m2 net of commercial exhibition and activities in Hall 2 of Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue.
